The one project I have wanted to tackle lately has been the master bath. Especially every time I cleaned it. DO you ever scrub and scrub and it still feels dirty? Well, that was this bathroom. Yuck.
This is the before photo. This was after a little deconstruction but trust me, it didn't start out much better than this. Ugly carpet, broken vanity (I had a mistreatment over it), stained marble counter, and rust colored walls do not bring a "spa" feeling.
After. Beadboard wallpaper, new craigslist vanity for $40 spruced up with some black paint, and hardware from Hobby Lobby. Oh and new flooring! I will have to update with a picture of that.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to use the beadboard wallpaper but haven't tried it yet. I'd love to know how it holds up to the rigors and moisture in a bathroom. Great job on a FANTASTIC makeover!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we shall see how it holds up but our shower area is in a separate room and I did not put it in there so I don't think it will be too much of a problem.
