It's a party!

In spirit of The Nesters Price My Space party I thought I would share this recent addition to our living room.

We moved out the entertainment center into the family room but I wanted to keep my stereo in here so I brought out this round table I found in the attic and underneath is the new hiding place for the stereo. Then of course I had to "dress" up the area on a budget so this is what I came up with...

View of entire corner with table, not so pretty speakers, and decorations. The fabric would be the splurge of this project. But of course it was still on sale! Fabric is from Hobby Lobby marked down from $39 per yard (yikes!) to $13 per yard and I do love it. So at about 9 yards total for drapes and table was $117.
The topper for the table was made from fabric I found at a yard sale; 6 yards for $6. So, for this topper I would say $2.
Valance scarf - Ebay $20

On to the other doo dads. This does not look great to me but it's what I have to work with for now.
1. branchy basket thing with bird house $9
Basket of decorative balls (old) I think $12
black pillar - Hobby Lobby clearance $4
White candle stick- Goodwill $2
Gray twig ball thing _ Target $2
Glass jar with shells - found in house FREE
Picture frame for picture $3

And for the above wall : 2 plates from Goodwill $1.20 total
Iron Scroll thing- Goodwill $2

Other wall:
Branches for vase- Ross $5
Vase thing - Goodwill $4
Birdie- Goodwill $2
Black shel- Goodwill $4
Picture frame for picture- Hobby Lobby clearance $3

OK, so after reviewing.. wow! I have a lot of stuff from Goodwill! So by combining the splurge for nice fabric with my various finds from thrifting and clearnace items brings the grand total to.... $192.20.

Can't wait to see what other people have worked with at the Nesting Place!
